About Ratana Law
A practice built on patience and plain speaking
We started Ratana Law because we believed pension matters deserved thoughtful, unhurried legal attention — the kind that puts your understanding first.

How Ratana Law came to be
Ratana Law was founded in Bangkok with a single purpose in mind: to give people with pension concerns a place where they could be heard, properly informed, and supported without pressure.
Our founders spent years working in Thai administrative and civil law before recognising that a particular group of people — those with unresolved pension questions — often struggled to find legal help that felt accessible. Pension matters sit at the edge of employment law, social welfare regulation, and administrative procedure. The landscape can be confusing even for those familiar with it.
We set out to change the experience of getting help. At Ratana Law, the first conversation is never a sales meeting. It is simply a chance to listen carefully, understand your situation, and explain what we see — in language that makes sense.
Our practice operates from Silom Road in Bangkok's Bang Rak district, and we work with clients from across Thailand who have questions about pension entitlement, decisions they wish to challenge, or ongoing matters requiring steady legal support.
Our Mission
What guides our work
Clarity above all
We translate complex legal and administrative language into terms you can act on. If we cannot explain something clearly, we do not consider our work done.
Honesty about outcomes
We set realistic expectations from the start. If a course of action is unlikely to help, we will say so — respectfully and directly. We would rather disappoint you briefly than mislead you at length.
Your timeline, not ours
We do not create urgency where none exists. You make decisions when you are ready. Our role is to ensure that when you do decide, you have the information you need.

Our Expertise
Legal support for pension matters in Thailand
Pension law in Thailand touches several areas of legislation, including the Social Security Act, the Workmen's Compensation Fund provisions, the Civil Service Pension Act, and various employer pension scheme regulations. When a person's entitlement is questioned, delayed, or reduced, the process of understanding and responding can feel overwhelming.
Ratana Law focuses specifically on helping individuals — not institutions — to understand what their pension entitlement should be, what has happened if a decision seems wrong, and what steps are available to them. Our work involves reading pension fund records, corresponding with the Social Security Office and employer pension administrators, preparing formal objections, and representing clients through administrative appeal processes.
We serve clients from Bangkok and across Thailand. While many of our clients come to us through referral or recommendation, anyone with a pension question is welcome to make an initial enquiry. The first conversation is without charge and without any obligation to proceed.
Ratana Law is located at 76 Silom Road, Bang Rak, Bangkok — accessible by BTS at Chong Nonsi and Sala Daeng stations. We also meet clients remotely where in-person attendance is not convenient.
